As of September 26, 2011, the fall colors are just getting perfect. They will probably peak this week! We expect about a week of good colors before they start to taper off, so lots of time to fly!

Update Sept. 24
We had an amazing sunset colors tour on Pikes Peak, the colors were just glowing! There is still a little green left in them so we are still looking at a long season as long as these warm days stick around! As of today, we are still in the prime time to see the colors!

Current Conditions
Just an update on current colors conditions in the Pikes Peak area. This is one of the best years for the autumn leaves we have seen - there are so many colors it's amazing. The peak started early, about Sept 15, so we have been seeing good shows all through this week! They have started to move down to the lower elevations, but they should still be good on the Mountain for at least another 4 or 5 days at least. The city colors are right on schedule to begin getting good about October 1 and we hope they last a couple of weeks for your viewing pleasure!
